The 17th century cottage is situated in the main street of Winchcombe, conveniently near to the shops, restaurants, tea rooms and pubs. It is within walking distance of the Railway Museum and Sudeley Castle, and a short drive or bus ride away from Cheltenham, the Regency spa town noted for its parks, Pump Room, elegant shopping area in the Promenade and Montpellier, and the famous Racecourse. There is a regular bus service between Winchcombe and Cheltenham.
The Cotswold Way National Trail passes through Winchcombe, and there are several other long distance footpaths nearby, including the Gloucestershire, Wychavon, and Wardens Ways.
